Who we are?
The latest amendment to the Constitution, changing the language structure, has been the morale booster and thereafter we have been trying to showcase our history, heritage and vision before others. A humble beginning has been made by us in this front and there is long road before us on this count.
What we do?
We advocate for the use of Odia language in true spirit, in the domain of day-to-day administration, justice delivery, apart from the field of teaching. Besides, we have undertaken the project for developing Odia lexicon, with inclusion of typical odia version of technical words ,so as to avoid dependence on English language. To have synergy with the advancement of Information technology, we have collaborated with national level technology service providers for technology-driven study, work and research in odia version.
Why this is required?
Under this back drop, the time has come to wake up and to think for the future generation, who will find it versatile to deal with all aspects of life using their own language, without relying on foreign language. This will enable access to all, including those are at the bottom of the pyramid, to the officialdom, judicial system, education, research and they will be able to taste the delicacy of inclusive growth and sustainable living.
